We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news — in December 2025, we’ll be opening our doors as a full-fledged cocktail bar!

This has been a dream of ours for many years, and getting to this point has taken a lot of hard work. From navigating resource consents and alcohol licensing, to renovations and kitting out the space, there’s been plenty of behind-the-scenes effort to make it happen. It hasn’t always been glamorous — sometimes it’s tedious, sometimes frustrating — but all of it has been worth it to reach this milestone and move on to the fun part: opening day.

With less than three weeks to go, it’s busy as can be here — creating menus, ordering in supplies, painting, and working through the never-ending list of last-minute fix-ups. It’s chaotic, it’s hectic, and it’s absolutely fun — we wouldn’t have it any other way.

This summer, we’ll be open every day from 12pm to 8pm with a full cocktail menu, including changing specials. We’ll also have beer and wine available - we’re having a blast putting these menus together while collaborating with some fantastic Tasman wineries and breweries. On the food side, we’re incredibly lucky to have Chef Thomas Vernay from the Cheeky Goat running our new food truck — expect sensational food, with more details coming soon!

Our goal is for our cocktail bar to be the place you can come for high-quality food and drinks, all wrapped up in that unmistakable Kiwi Spirit vibe. We can’t wait to welcome you through the doors, share a drink, and celebrate this exciting new chapter with you!
